Images of Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy S5 Mini Leaked

Samsung has a habit of launching a whole lineup along with its S5. They have already launched the Galaxy S5, the S5 Active and K Zoom.
There have been rumors floating about the alleged S5 mini for a long time. Looking at the leaked photos that were released recently by SamMobile, we can instantly make out that the Smartphone shares its design cues from its elder sibling the Galaxy S5. It uses the same dotted back panel, and even the water-repelling rubber padding underneath the back panel. We can also make out that it will include all the latest gadgetry that Samsung has to offer, such as the fingerprint scanner under the home button and the heart-rate monitor under the camera lens. This seems like the most legit leak till date.

The speculated specs of the S5 Mini include a 4.5” Super Amoled Screen with 720p Resolution, 1.4 GHz Quad Core Exynos Chipset along with 1.5GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, 16GB internal storage with further support for  microSD. The device will be powered by the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Touchwiz on top.
The S5 mini will also apparently offer all of the new software features introduced with the Galaxy S5, including the battery enhancing Ultra Power Saving Mode, Kids Mode and Private Mode. Once this phone is launched  it will compete directly with the HTC One Mini 2, and the device is expected to be priced accordingly.
